Name Change Policy

BookBudgetFlight knows that sometimes a situation may force you to change the name on your booked flight. That’s why we will preserve smooth sailing for our travelers by having the following name change policy:

1. Eligibility for Name Changes: Name changes are only allowed when there exist specific conditions, such as misspelling or legal name changes-for example, due to marriage or divorce. Let us know if you need your name changed as soon as possible.

2. Change of name: The request is to be made via the customer service team. And the customers can contact us by writing a mail to info@bookbudgetflight.com. Booking reference number and information on changing their name is to be submitted.

3. Timeframe for Name Change: The change in requests has to be sent at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. All changes made after this period shall not be processed.

4. Charges:  According to the airlines’ policies on name changes, there might be charges applicable. We shall be glad to provide you with information
on the charge that would apply to processing your request.

5. Exceptions: Changes in name are not permitted on checked-in tickets or in non-transferable fares. Also, name change for all names including first and
last name must be paid for by issuing a new ticket.
